The Inside Account Manager at ZOLL will work with the Territory Managers under the direction of the Director of Inside Sales and be responsible for the telephone, e-mail and web-based sales of targeted add-on and upgrade products into existing clients conversions of existing customers between products and completing the associated paperwork and processes.  They will also be responsible for securing renewal contracts with existing customers who have reached the end of their existing agreement.


This position will be based out of Broomfield, CO.  


  • Develop an advanced understanding of the EMS industry including the unique needs and business challenges of our existing clients.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the functionality and business uses of ZOLL’s products. 
  • Achieve renewal contract and conversion sales goals.
  • Partner effectively with field-based territory sales managers on renewal and conversion opportunities.
  • Work with Sales Engineers to deliver product demonstrations, using primarily online presentation tools such as Zoom.
  • Prepare sales quotes and negotiate contracts within specified authority.
  • Manage and report on activity in review meetings with management.
  • Maintain accurate records of all call activity in Salesforce.com
  • Build rapport and relationships with territory sales managers and customers through prompt, courteous, efficient, and professional service.



  • College degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years’ professional business development and/or inside sales experience
  • Strong telephone based experience with solution based selling methods
  • Proven ability to effectively navigate a complex sales process
  • Excellent time management, communication (oral and written), decision-making, presentation and organization skills
  • Excellent people and relationship skills and a demonstrated ability as a successful team contributor


  • Experience selling software and services
  • Commanding knowledge of MS-Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and/or Sales Force Automation applications such as Salesforce.com

The annual base salary for this position is $50,000-$60,000/yr. based on skills and experience.  In addition this position is eligible for additional bonuses or commissions, with on target earnings of $90,000-$100,000/year.
