Overview

The Sales Operations Manager will serve as a key strategic partner to sales, marketing and other cross-functional leaders within the ZOLL | Respicardia operating unit. The Sales Operations Manager will help
achieve our collective goal of developing and implementing a strategy to promote market awareness and rapid adoption of the the remedē System to patients in need.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Partnering with Sales Leadership in developing commercial field operating model.
  • Supports the development of long-term, organizational strategy.
  • Analyzes sales metrics and gauges the success of existing programs to develop a strategic plan.
  • Sets clear direction and management that aligns with defined practices and policies and enhances the organization's support function necessary to meet established sales or market share targets.
  • Responsible for planning, initiating, monitoring, tracking and/or prioritizing sales and marketing. 
  • Support projects and process improvement initiatives and facilitate successful, on-time and within budget execution.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to drive transformational efficiencies - CRM implementation & salesforce effectiveness.
  • Interacts and works closely with other departments, such as Sales, Marketing, & Finance to ensure adequate support to the sales and marketing functions.
  • Directs day to day activities for multiple work-stream teams through managing project plans, resourcing, status reporting, resolving issues, identifying project risks and accountability for deliverables across multiple functional organizations.
  • Establishes meaningful business metrics.
  • Developing and conducting business reviews in partnership with Sales Leadership.
  • Design sales compensation plans, including Sales SPIFs, that meet business objectives.
  • Responsible for project performance, risk management, administration, financial management, budgeting and issue resolution.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle 25% or more travel schedule.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years
    relevant experience.
  • Direct experience supporting cross-functional programs.
  • Experience managing sales operations and enablement programs.
  • Familiarity with high-level business concepts and what drives growth.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and related analytics and data.
  • Strategic mindset.
  • Sales orientation or exposure to working with a high performing salesforce is very helpful.
  • Exceptional leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills, particularly in working effectively
    as a member of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen to physician/customer needs,
    prioritize needs/requirements and communicate them to cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • High attention to detail and strong team attitude.
  • Comfortable in a small, dynamic company environment with frequent changes in direction.
  • Must have ability to accomplish tasks in a fast-paced environment.
