We are looking to expand our Finance Department with a Contract Operations Specialist.   This new position will work collaboratively with our Sales organization to help draft sales contracts that accurately reflect the unique needs of our customers in a way that is consistent with ZOLL guidelines and easily understood by all parties.

Responsibilities

This position will play a key role in ZOLL Data Systems Finance department by working closely with members of our legal team as well as contract administration, the Sales organization, our Customer Success Organization, and clients. Provide advice on key aspects of the contract terms, and take responsibility for making sure that all negotiated changes are accounted for in the final documentations. The right candidate will have experience reading, understanding and implementing contracts preferably in a SaaS environment. This job requires excellent communication and inter-personal skills, the ability to prioritize and complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Primary duties will include the following areas:

  • Read and analyze proposed sales contracts and flag those terms and conditions that are outside of ZOLL guidelines and make recommendations to the sales teams on alternative solutions for negotiation;
  • Actively collaborate with ZOLL internal Legal counsel as well as Sales and Customer Success colleagues on negotiating with our clients to set and achieve win/win objectives;
  • Review executed contracts and provide the interpretive documentation necessary to enable the Contract Administration team to accurately process each contract for implementation and billing.
  • Collaborate with internal stake holders on the evaluation of new customers to help develop workable terms and conditions guidelines for the life cycle of the client. 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a professional Contract/Finance/Accounting environment.
  • Extensive exposure to processing contracts with varying terms and conditions.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Proven record of building strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Initiative to validate accuracy of data and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Able to multi-task and manage to deadlines.
  • Able to work in a strong team oriented environment.
  • Able to work collaboratively and in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Interest in “digging into the details” and researching data.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in a SaaS or Software environment
  • Experience working with Software contracts
  • Invoicing or Contract Administration experience
  • Experience with Dun & Bradstreet reports and making credit recommendations
