We are looking to hire a progressive Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist to take responsibility for many areas of ZOLL’s Talent Acquisition.  In this role you will be responsible for day to day recruiting activities and will also support Talent Acquisition needs for the HR staff at our Broomfield and San Diego locations.  As a member of the HR team, your duties and responsibilities will extend beyond the Talent Acquisition realm into other areas of Human Resources, allowing you to grow into other HR areas that are of interest to you.  Indeed, a desire to broaden your horizons in the business world is a pre-requisite for this role.

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of requisitions for a company with 400 employees nationwide;
  • Delegate and load balance all requisitions to self as well as recruiters in Broomfield and San Diego;
  • Maintain recruiting business tools including our hiring manifest and ATS;
  • Work with marketing personnel to take the lead on ZOLL Data’s eBranding strategies and messaging;
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and executives based upon communication and trust;
  • Work as a business partner to identify and address the challenges of high tech recruiting in today's marketplace and brainstorm on creative ways to source candidates;
  • Proactively engage in building a pipeline of passive candidates;
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruitier, Indeed, and other tools to identify passive candidates;
  • Work with hiring managers to continually evaluate technical and "right stuff" candidate requirements for positions in the company as they arise;
  • Take initiative to learn about the various technologies that are current in the software development industry and become conversant about these technologies;
  • Attend job fairs and users group meetings to assist in promoting the ZOLL Brand;
  • Conduct thorough front line screening on candidates for open positions and facilitate the interviewing process;
  • Negotiate offers with successful candidates and complete handoff to HR Generalist;
  • Accurately articulate the company culture and benefits to candidates in order to promote the ZOLL brand;
  • Cross-Train on generalist activities and other Human Resources functions and take on special projects as assigned.


  • 4+ years of experience in an a fast paced, in-house recruiting environment;
  • Experience sourcing and attracting hard to find technology candidates as well as general office and business personnel;
  • 3+ years of experience leveraging employer eBrand and social media to locate and attract candidates;
  • Above average proficiency using technology to manage workflow and processes;
  • Innate sense of urgency and an ability to multi-task, prioritize, and reprioritize;
  • Experience with Affirmative Action high desirable;
  • Experience with International recruiting desired.
