    We are seeking the expertise of an experienced Regional Sales Manager with an emphasis in selling complex IT solutions.  This individual will assume responsibility for the development and success of the Western U.S. Region Sales Team.  This will include the recruitment, training, and management of Territory Managers; as well as working with other operational units within ZOLL Data to ensure continued growth and build strong customer relationships in the markets we serve. This person will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts; as well as working with senior management to develop and execute an aggressive sales plan to grow revenue and market share within the Western United States. 

    Responsibilities

    • Full responsibility for the recruitment, selection, training, mentoring, motivating, and management of 6+ Sales Managers in the Western United States Territory. Work with VP North American Sales and Product Management to develop and deliver comprehensive training and coaching sessions to maximize the productivity of the Western Region Sales Team.
    • Responsible for working with VP North American Sales and Territory Managers to develop annual sales budget by product and by territory and for re-forecasting monthly and quarterly throughout the fiscal year.
    • Establish quarterly and annual quotas by Territory Manager and hold Territory Managers accountable for achieving these quotas in the Western United States.
    • Responsible for learning the value propositions for the various components of the RescueNet solution and for working with Product Management to develop comprehensive sales tools that facilitate product messaging.
    • Enforce a metrics tracking system to monitor activity by Territory Manager and ensure Territory Managers achieve established goals.
    • Actively work with each Territory Manager to identify individual strengths and weaknesses in the field. Create and implement individualized development plans for each Territory Manager to assist them in achieving his/her full potential.   
    • Responsible for the coordination between the ZOLL Medical/ZOLL Data Systems Territory Managers to drive collaboration/communication to achieve sales goals.   

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in an outbound sales role selling complex technology products.
    • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Management role or 3 years of successful sales experience within the ZOLL family.
    • A strong concentration during career of Public Safety/EMS related sales activities.
    • A track record of success with a documented history of exceeding sales and budget targets.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technology
